Hello Martin and all members of patternform.
Love the software, first discovered you through an old contact on OLBG a while back, it throws up some amazing results and I could sit and play with the filters all day! I do a lot of trading these days in various other sports, but have scalped a lot racing markets before the off in the past, am really looking to get into the IR trading, but have always been a bit wary in the past because of the speed of odds and volatility etc.

Hopefully I can learn more being part of the community here. Very Happy

Welcome to the group. I thing we're all still learning about IR trading both in terms of pre-race positions which are traded back IR and my own personal favourite of watching a race and looking for the horse going best ... and then getting a price before it collapses

Oh, I may well be being dense but what is OLBG?

When you mention your personal favourite, how are you working that? The horse going best, quickly back it then look to trade out at shorter odds just before the horse runs out of steam?

Sorry Martin it's a site called online betting guide, with a large community of betting enthusiasts/blogs/forum etc. It has a useful tipping competitions on all sports which let's you play with fantasy money and realtime odds and works out your profit loss etc. I find it's a good way of paper trading, if you like, a new system or method without wasting your own funds.
