Not as much as I had last time ... but that was only worth 6k and he was 11/2 so I must have been mad to have backed him .... Hmmmmm
I traded a little back at 3.1 just in case but it was a nice pickup having rather lost my way over the last few days. |

Very Nice Martin
I was more than happy with Mr Wolf as the old boy did me proud.
Scalped for 12 points pre-race i then Backed big at 10.0 and traded back IR taking Green in the process at 6.0,5.0 & 4.0 for a fat profit
I really hope the press write John Keats off as held by the handicapper because he'll be back to form on better ground, having run another blinder today on unsuitable ground. _________________ You Don't Need Eyes To See, You Need Vision. |

I'll be waiting along with you for that fast surface .... which with the weather may be in the autumn!!!
In the 4.30 this Heritage Coast looks beatable especially at 1/2f
My notebook runner here was Nisaal . I was waiting for a handicap but this looks winnable espeially at 7+ - interesting that it's R Hills only ride and is the longest traveller (just on RUK) |

I think he'll win again back on a fast surface Martin. He's just not as effective on softened ground, as many horses with his style aren't. If he's still improving which i think he is, i'd be thinking another win under his belt on GF then keep him under wraps till September, praying for an indian summer before a run in the Ayr Silver Cup...........am i insane? _________________ You Don't Need Eyes To See, You Need Vision. |

Another of Big Jim's classier animals who is improving, the step up in trip and soft ground would really suit this filly. Currently 5.0 looks value in a race in which i made her a 5/2 chance at best and i'll be pulling on the scalping boots and making an effort to get stuck in, albeit it at the kind of price that is often hard work
Well worth waiting all day for and a typical gutsy performance from a tough honest filly. Just enough movement in the market to make it well worth the effort too; i suspect they tried to get her but couldn't stand the heat and rolled over in the end. She just had to be traded IR too when it was quickly apparent everything was falling into place. Happy Days |
A 5/2 chance at best...........
I think this must have been a typing error, surely i meant 5/4 _________________ You Don't Need Eyes To See, You Need Vision. |
